Credentials

The musicians who perform with THE QUARTETTE ACCORD, THE ACCORD TRIO, and THE ACCORD DUO are all union members of the St. Louis Musicians' Association. As such, we come to you as highly trained professional free-lance musicians. (Our principal violinist and business manager, for example, boasts study with no less than three members of our very own St. Louis Symphony, as well as four years of study during college years with the concertmaster of the Indianapolis Symphony.)

Although THE QUARTETTE ACCORD itself has been in operation just since 1991, the performing experience of its individual members averages some 20 years or more. With the diverse musical opportunities available to free-lance musicians throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area, we have acquired the skills needed to provide you a truly high level of performance for your wedding or special event.

Organizations/Events for which some or all of our members have performed include: Gateway Festival Orchestra, Ballet Orchestra of St. Louis, Muny orchestra at Forest Park, Bach Society of St. Louis, Masterworks Chorale of Belleville IL, Papal mass orchestra 01/99, Pavarotti concert at Kiel Center 02/99, the annual Veiled Prophet Ball, and back-up orchestra for artists such as The Moody Blues, Ray Charles, Manhattan Transfer, and Tony Bennett.

In addition, many of our players teach privately and/or perform in community orchestras such as the St. Louis Philharmonic and Webster Symphony Orchestra.
